The North Gyeongsang Province Biotech Industry Research Institute held a communication forum with representatives and officials of its tenant companies, along with outside experts, at the institute's main conference room, the institute announced Thursday.

The forum was organized to gather feedback on tenant companies' operating conditions and on-site difficulties, and to build a sustained channel of communication and cooperation between the institute and its tenants.

Participants shared updates on tenant company operations and key support measures, and discussed difficulties and suggestions arising from running their businesses and using the institute's facilities.

They also explored practical cooperation measures, including improvements to the tenant environment, more active business support, better use of the institute's infrastructure, and links to support programs.

External specialists from Elfs and SJ Next also took part, sharing growth-stage strategies for deep tech and biotech companies — covering technology rights protection, proof-of-concept testing, technology commercialization, investment attraction and initial public offerings — and fielding questions from attendees.

The institute said it plans to review the feedback raised at the forum with relevant departments and identify follow-up support measures tied to its business support programs and infrastructure.

"Through regular communication with our tenant companies, we will reflect the voices from the field in our business support policy and programs, and expand support to strengthen the growth and competitiveness of regional biotech companies," said Jo In-ho, director of the North Gyeongsang Province Biotech Industry Research Institute.
