Ulju-gun in Ulsan announced Thursday its individual official land prices as of July 1 this year.

Individual official land prices represent the per-square-meter value of individual plots, calculated on the basis of standard official land prices. The figures are used to assess national taxes such as capital gains tax and inheritance tax, local taxes including property tax and acquisition tax, and various other levies.

This round of announcements covers 1,507 individual plots where changes — such as subdivision or consolidation — occurred between Jan. 1 and June 30 this year. Ulju-gun determined the per-square-meter prices after completing land characteristic surveys and verification by licensed appraisers, conducting a public review period for landowners and other interested parties, and obtaining approval from the Ulju-gun Real Estate Price Disclosure Committee.

Landowners and interested parties can look up the prices through the Real Estate Official Price Notification System at www.realtyprice.kr, or in person at the civil affairs and cadastral division of the Ulju-gun office or at the civil affairs desks of township and village administrative welfare centers. Those wishing to contest a valuation may file an objection through Nov. 27 at the same offices, through the notification system at www.realtyprice.kr, or via the Government24 portal at plus.gov.kr.
