Korea East-West Power held the second round of its employee-driven charity event, the "EWP Flash Store," Wednesday in the lobby of its headquarters. Proceeds will go toward the "Beautiful Sharing Bundle" program, which assembles daily necessities and food packages for vulnerable households.

The "EWP Flash Store" is a corporate social responsibility initiative run in partnership with Beautiful Store, in which employees donate goods that are resold to generate funds for vulnerable communities.

Korea East-West Power held the first round of the event in May, collecting more than 400 items donated by staff. At Wednesday's second event, employees again volunteered to donate goods and took part in the sales activities.

Korea East-West Power President Kwon Myung-ho said the event showed how voluntary staff contributions could translate into meaningful support for those in need. "We will continue to pursue participatory social contribution activities that combine resource circulation and sharing, and spread the value of warm giving throughout our local community," Kwon said.
