Korea Polytechnics' Suncheon campus, which operates under the Ministry of Employment and Labor, held its 2026 Capstone Project Competition and Awards Ceremony, honoring top student entries.

The capstone competition challenges students to design and build projects using their major knowledge and technology skills, testing their ability to solve real-world industrial problems creatively and apply hands-on expertise.

Wednesday's event drew 19 entries, judged on creativity, completeness and practicality. Outstanding works were selected and recognized with awards.

"Students took the lead at every stage — from conceiving ideas to designing and building their projects — gaining experience applying their academic knowledge to technology in practice and developing the practical skills needed on the job," said Kim Seong-jae, dean of Korea Polytechnics' Suncheon campus.
