Singing bowl meditation experience; first-come, first-served registration opens Wednesday
Ulsan Museum is accepting applications through Tuesday for its November edition of "After-Work Rest, Museum," an adult program tied to the monthly Culture Day initiative.
The November session, themed "Singing Bowl: Wednesday Healing at the Museum," will be held Nov. 11 at two time slots — 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. — in the immersive video room of the museum's Industrial History Hall 2, with 17 participants per session.
The 90-minute program covers three activities: awakening the body's senses through stretching, observing the breath and mind through meditation, and experiencing deep relaxation through singing bowl sound meditation. The program aims to offer residents worn down by daily life a restorative session for body and mind. A singing bowl is a "meditation sound vessel" rooted in the Buddhist traditions of Himalayan regions including Tibet and Nepal.
Those wishing to participate can apply through Ulsan Moa, the city of Ulsan's integrated reservation website. For more information, visit the Ulsan Museum website or contact the museum's education and public relations team at 052-229-4732.
