SK Stoa announced Tuesday it will introduce a safflower seed oil product, drawing attention as a new plant-based ingredient for bone and joint health among middle-aged consumers.

The home shopping channel will air the launch of Dayz On's "Cold-Pressed Safflower Seed Oil 100%" Wednesday at 6:31 a.m. The product was developed for consumers in their 40s and 50s and women going through menopause, who face heightened risks of arthritis and osteoporosis as temperatures drop sharply in autumn.

The product uses organic safflower seed oil imported directly from Germany and applies a "low-temperature cold-pressing method" — slowly pressing the seeds at below 40 degrees Celsius — to minimize nutrient loss.

Rich in oleic acid, an unsaturated fatty acid, and the plant-based compound lignan, the oil contains no sodium, cholesterol, trans fats or sugars. It has received organic certification from both the US Department of Agriculture and the EU.

Each serving comes in an individual stick pouch that resists rancidity, making it hygienic and easy to carry.

Customers who purchase during the broadcast will receive four additional boxes of the product. Orders placed through the mobile app will earn up to 10 percent cashback on the payment amount.
