Winter stay package blends Jeju cuisine with wellness amenities
Hotel targets premium leisure demand during the cold season
A winter package evoking the warmth of a campfire — complete with old-school music and roasted sweet potatoes — is now available at JW Marriott Jeju. The offering pairs Jeju cuisine with sauna access to appeal to travelers seeking a premium retreat.
JW Marriott Jeju Resort & Spa announced Monday the launch of its "Winter Wellness Package." The package includes a breakfast buffet, a traditional Korean drinking spread made with local Jeju ingredients, makgeolli cocktails, a nighttime wellness kit, and access to dry and wet saunas. It also features the "JW Garden Bulmyeong," a campfire-gazing program.
Guests receive a breakfast buffet at Island Kitchen, the hotel's all-day dining restaurant. In the evening, The Lounge serves one Jeju-ingredient drinking spread and two makgeolli cocktails per stay.
Each guest also receives a nighttime wellness kit designed to support skin care and rest. Deluxe and premium room guests get a sheet mask and an eye mask, while suite-level guests and above receive a sheet mask, serum and tea set — all in limited quantities.
In the evenings, the JW Garden Bulmyeong program invites guests to sit by a campfire under Jeju's night sky, listening to music played on a cassette tape player while enjoying warm drinks and sweet potatoes. The program offers a quiet, restorative winter night in the glow of an open fire.
The Winter Wellness Package is priced for two adults. Reservations are open through Feb. 28 next year, with stays permitted through March 1 next year. Rates start at 1.08 million won ($816) per night, tax included.
