NH Investment & Securities announced Monday it will hold a Financial Consumer Protection Week from Monday through Friday to raise employee awareness of financial consumer protection and promote a consumer-centered workplace culture.

The event was designed to align with financial regulators' policy direction of placing consumer protection as the top priority, sharing the importance of protecting customers across the full product lifecycle — from design and manufacturing to sales and after-sales management — and enabling employees to review relevant systems and procedures on their own.

During the week, all employees will take part in a range of programs, including a CEO letter outlining the firm's consumer protection commitments, a pledge to uphold the financial consumer protection code, and self-assessment events covering consumer protection practices and complete-sales procedures.

The complete-sales self-assessment event is designed as a quiz that lets employees gauge their own understanding of the Financial Consumer Protection Act and enhanced complete-sales procedures. Based on the results, the company plans to identify areas needing improvement and provide educational materials and practical guides tailored to the types of incorrect answers.

"Financial consumer protection is a core value that underpins customer trust and the company's sustainable growth," said Noh Sang-in, head of NH Investment & Securities' financial consumer protection division. "We hope this event gives employees an opportunity to reflect on consumer protection systems and complete-sales procedures."

He added that the firm would "continue to strengthen employees' consumer protection capabilities and make ongoing efforts to embed a complete-sales culture throughout the organization."

Also starting Monday, NH Investment & Securities began accepting first-come, first-served subscriptions for "N2 IMA1 Mid-Term No. 4," a new IMA product. The product has a maturity of two years and three months and a total issuance size of 120 billion won ($90.6 million), structured identically to Mid-Term No. 3, which sold out earlier. The performance fee benchmark return is set at 4.5 percent per annum, with a 40 percent performance fee applied to returns exceeding that benchmark after fee deductions. The subscription period may close early if the limit is reached.
