New packages combine Australia's major hubs — Sydney and Melbourne — with unspoiled outlying destinations such as Wollongong and Tangalooma, weaving together city sightseeing, eco-experiences and full days of free time.

Hanatour announced Monday that it is running a joint marketing promotion with Tourism Australia through Nov. 22.

The promotion covers a wide range of popular Australian attractions alongside lesser-known spots. All packages are structured under the "Hana Pack 2.0" format, which excludes shopping center visits and offers optional activities at reasonable prices.

The seven-day Sydney package pairs the city's must-see sights with a stop in the coastal city of Wollongong. Travelers dine aboard a dinner cruise with panoramic views of Darling Harbour through floor-to-ceiling windows, then take in sweeping natural scenery from the Wollongong lookout.

The seven-day Sydney/Brisbane/Tangalooma package blends adventure and relaxation. At the Blue Mountains World Heritage site, guests can experience four Scenic World attractions, including the Scenic Skyway, which offers 360-degree views of the surrounding landscape. On the fifth day, the itinerary moves to the pristine eco-island resort of Tangalooma, where one of the two nights is set aside as a full free day.

The seven-day Melbourne/Sydney package combines urban sightseeing with wildlife encounters. Beyond the highlights of Australia's two most iconic cities, the tour takes guests to Phillip Island for a wallaby safari and the famous Penguin Parade.

"This is a special promotion developed in partnership with Tourism Australia," a Hanatour official said. "The packages cover not only the country's landmark destinations but also its hidden gems, so travelers will be able to experience the full range of what Australia has to offer."
