BM Tech Solution, a small and medium-sized enterprise that manufactures industrial automation equipment and unmanned aerial vehicle airframes, plans to expand its factory in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province.

According to Gyeongju City, BM Tech Solution will invest 5 billion won ($3.77 million) to expand its industrial robot and drone production facilities at its existing site within the Yongmyeong General Industrial Complex in Geoncheon-eup, Gyeongju, with the work to be completed by September 2028.

Founded in 2019, BM Tech Solution produces automation equipment, unmanned aerial vehicle airframes and precision parts. The company decided to scale up its production facilities in anticipation of growth in the robot and drone markets.

BM Tech Solution signed an investment MOU with Gyeongju City on Thursday.

Gyeongju City will provide administrative support, including permits and approvals, and offer investment subsidies in accordance with relevant laws and eligibility requirements.

Moon Young-cheol, chief executive of BM Tech Solution, said the company would "contribute to job creation and local economic development as a business that grows alongside the community."
