Month-long program runs across Namsan Park in November
Traditional archery, bird watching among activities on offer
Seoul's Jungbu Park and Leisure Center will hold the "2026 Namsan Dulle-gil Autumn Picnic" festival across Namsan Park throughout November, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced Sunday.
During the event, a park photo exhibition called "Namsan Dulle-gil Gallery" will be on display along the northern circular trail and the walking paths of the Korea Forest Garden. Visitors can stroll through autumn foliage while taking in photographs of Namsan's scenery captured by the city's park photographers.
On Nov. 7 and 8, the program will feature a nature and history tour through Namsan's storied past, a bird ecology exploration called "Namsan Bird Family Survey," and knitting workshops. A guided history tour along the dulle-gil trail and an autumn tour of the Korea Forest Garden will also be held.
Additional activities for families and adults include bird watching, a forest seed hunt, knitting, and weaving keyring workshops. A "Park Photo Studio" service, where park photographers take portraits of visitors, and a coloring experience featuring park scenery will also be available.
On Nov. 14, a traditional archery competition will be held at Seokhojong in Namsan Park, where participants can test their skills against a target 145 meters away, with a backdrop of dense pine forest. During the event, the park photo exhibition "Namsan Dulle-gil Gallery" will also be on display along the northern circular trail and the Korea Forest Garden walking paths.
Registration for the tour and activity programs opens Sunday at 2 p.m. through the Seoul Public Service Reservation website. Details on individual program schedules and how to participate are available on the Garden City Seoul website.
"We hope visitors will soak in the deepening autumn atmosphere of Namsan and create cherished memories," said Shin Hyeon-ho, director of Seoul's Jungbu Park and Leisure Center.
