Rapper Yang Hong-won, 27, who married Sunday, has denied infidelity allegations, but attention has turned to the fact that he and his wife, model Won Hyun-ju, have unfollowed each other on social media.

As of Saturday, neither Yang nor Won was following the other's Instagram account.

The reason for the mutual unfollow has not been confirmed, but the move has fueled widespread speculation, as unfollowing on social media is often interpreted as a sign of a complete break.

Won has also deleted all posts from her Instagram account, leaving only the message "No posts yet." The reason has not been confirmed, but many have speculated it may be connected to the infidelity allegations that recently surfaced against Yang.

The allegations emerged Friday when an internet user identified only as A, believed to be an acquaintance of Yang, posted on Instagram: "A newlywed groom just went to a motel with a woman. Is this not wrong?" The person did not provide direct evidence of an affair but shared the face and social media profile of a woman alleged to be the other party. A also posted screenshots of conversations in which they appeared to pressure Yang and Won with threats of further exposure. A openly stated that their motive was "attention and money."

As the controversy grew, Yang's agency, AP Alchemy, issued an official statement addressing the allegations.

According to the agency, Yang had been drinking at A's home after a performance when A asked him to leave. AP Alchemy said that while Yang, who was heavily intoxicated, and a woman described as a victim did go to a motel together because they had nowhere else to go, "there was absolutely no intimate conduct inside the room." Yang fell asleep immediately after checking in, and when the woman tried to wake him, she felt uncomfortable with the physical contact and called A to accompany her home, the agency said.

AP Alchemy said A's claims "differ from the facts and are the product of malicious editing," adding that A had attempted to extort money from Yang and the woman, and when that failed, spread false information.

The agency said it did not comply with A's financial demands, and that Yang and the woman have filed a complaint against A on charges of blackmail, violation of the Stalking Punishment Act and defamation through the publication of false facts. It added that it has secured evidence proving the incident was a deliberate fabrication.

AP Alchemy also warned it would take strict legal action against those who spread false information or post malicious comments.

Yang and Won held their wedding ceremony Sunday. The couple announced the birth of a daughter in November 2024 and have shared glimpses of their family life through Yang's YouTube channel, "Yang Hong-won's Parenting Diary."
