Park Ji-ho, an influencer known from the TV program Eoljjang Sidae, helped rescue a man who jumped into the sea during one of his TikTok live streams.

A video of the incident, which took place Thursday, spread widely across social media and online communities Friday.

In the footage, Park is seen eating raw fish alone at a pier near Ilgwang Beach in Busan while broadcasting live. A man approaches him and begins sharing his personal troubles, and Park listens attentively, offering words of comfort and encouragement.

After the conversation ends, the man walks toward the edge of the pier and suddenly jumps into the dark water.

Hearing the splash, Park immediately gets up and looks toward the sea. He then runs to a fishing boat moored nearby, finds a life ring on board and throws it toward the man.

The man manages to grab the ring, and Park pulls the attached rope to help him out of the water.

The entire episode unfolded in real time on TikTok Live. As the video spread to other online platforms, viewers praised Park for his quick and decisive response in an unexpected situation.

Comments poured in from netizens: "A true hero," "So relieved," "He saved a life," "Wow, he just went straight for it," "So cool," and "It's not easy to help without a moment's hesitation — incredible."

Park first gained public recognition in 2009 when he appeared on Eoljjang Sidae 2, an entertainment program on Comedy TV. He has since worked as an influencer, connecting with fans through social media and TikTok live broadcasts.
