A high school admissions fair is held in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.

Seoul's Gwangjin-gu will hold the "2026 Gwangjin-gu High School Admissions Fair" to help prospective high school students and their parents plan for the transition to high school.

The two-day event will run Nov. 10–11 at the main auditorium of the Gwangjin-gu District Office. Seven general high schools in the district — Gwangnam High School, Gwangyang High School, Jayang High School, Konkuk University High School, Daewon High School, Daewon Girls' High School and Dongdae Bugaram High School — will participate, presenting school-specific admissions information and curriculum details.

Each day, three to four schools will take part, with sessions divided into two parts. In the first part, each school will have up to 20 minutes to introduce its admissions process and curriculum. The second part will offer one-on-one consultations for those who wish to ask questions about choosing a school and planning their enrollment. Schedules for individual schools' presentations will be available on the registration page.

Applications will be accepted from Thursday through Nov. 4 on the Gwangjin-gu District Office website. Up to 300 prospective students and parents will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. One-on-one consultations can be requested on-site on the day of the fair.

For more information, contact the Gwangjin-gu District Office's Education Support Division.

Gwangjin-gu District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho said the fair was organized to help students and parents understand the distinct characteristics and curricula of each high school and map out the right path for themselves, in line with the full rollout of the high school credit system. "We will continue to run a variety of education programs to support students and parents in planning their academic and career paths," he said.
