40 companies and organizations to participate at Hanam Stadium's second gymnasium
Hanam city will hold an integrated job fair offering employment opportunities to job seekers across generations, from young adults to middle-aged and elderly residents.
The "Hanam All-Generation + Gyeonggi Province 5070 Job Fair" is scheduled for Oct. 30 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the second gymnasium of Hanam Stadium, the city announced Tuesday.
Held under the slogan "Connecting All Generations, Opening Tomorrow," the fair is designed to provide broad hiring opportunities and tailored employment support services to residents seeking work — including youth, middle-aged and elderly job seekers, people with disabilities, and women returning to the workforce after career breaks.
The event consolidates what were previously separate hiring events — including the Gyeonggi Province 5070 Job Fair, a youth recruitment event and a women's recruitment event — into a single venue so that job seekers of all ages can participate together.
By linking employment support functions across age groups, the city also plans to expand the number of companies conducting on-site hiring from the originally planned 30 to 40, widening opportunities for job seekers and employers to connect.
Participating companies and organizations in the hiring section are expected to include Lotte Medical Foundation Bovas Hospital, Cass, Ilyang Pharmaceutical, Coupang Inc Fulfillment Services, Daewoo Elevator, Hyundai Green Food, Gyeonggi Sangun, Hanam Post Office and the Gwangju-Hanam Office of Education.
Detailed hiring information — including a list of participating companies, job categories, number of openings and qualification requirements — will be available from the fourth week of October on the websites of Hanam City Hall, the Hanam Job Center and the Gyeonggi Province 5070 Job Fair.
Job seekers who wish to interview on site should review the hiring conditions of companies they are interested in and bring a resume and any required documents on the day.
An information zone offering employment counseling and job support policy guidance will also operate at the fair. Participating organizations include the Korea Federation of SMEs, the Gyeonggi Province Jobs Foundation, the Hanam Employment Welfare Plus Center, the Small Enterprise and Market Service Hanam Center, a women's career support center, the Gyeonggi Province Women's Organizations Council Hanam chapter, a youth support center, the Hanam Welfare Center for the Disabled, the Korea Senior Citizens Association Hanam chapter job support center, the Hanam Senior Club, the Hanam Public Health Center and the Hanam Hypertension and Diabetes Registration and Education Center. These organizations will provide counseling and job information tailored to each job seeker's age and circumstances.
A range of side programs will also be on hand to help job seekers prepare. Attendees can receive practical assistance covering everything from resume writing to interview preparation through programs including AI-assisted resume writing, resume photo shoots, personal color consultations, interview makeup sessions, career coaching and a stamp tour.
The fair is open to all job seekers. Participants can register in advance through the event's online site until the day before the fair, or sign up on site on the day.
Hanam Mayor Lee Hyeon-jae said the fair is "an opportunity for job seekers of all generations and companies looking for talent to meet in one place," adding that he hopes it will help "everyone from young people preparing to enter the workforce to residents looking to return to work using their experience find jobs that match their abilities and prepare for a new tomorrow."
