Samyang Foods said Tuesday it drew a strong response at SIAL Paris 2026, the world's largest food exhibition, marking the company's first participation in the event with its Buldak and Tangl product lines.

Chairman Kim Jung-soo, who spearheaded the development of Buldak Bokkeum Myun, visited the exhibition hall on Saturday, the opening day, to personally review preparations and the booth layout. He then toured the venue to oversee operations on the ground.

At the fair, Samyang Foods officially unveiled Peppo, a new character for the Buldak brand, and dressed its booth with large-scale installations and vibrant visual displays. A QR digital stamp tour — in which visitors complete missions to earn branded merchandise and ramyun — proved especially popular.

The booth also serves freshly prepared Buldak Original and Carbonara Buldak, along with three varieties from Tangl, its protein pasta brand. "We are receiving an enthusiastic response at our first SIAL Paris," a company official said. "We will use experiential marketing with our new character Peppo to cement our brand power."
