Company looks to deepen ties with tech talent online and offline

CJ Olive Young will host "define:OMNI," its first external tech conference, on Nov. 19 at Anderson C Seongsu, a multipurpose cultural venue in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.

The event will bring together leaders from the company's technology divisions to share how Olive Young built its omnichannel platform and to present case studies on developing a global platform for the US market. Sessions where attendees can experience the technology firsthand, along with exhibition and networking spaces, will also be available.

Since 2020, Olive Young has shared technical insights and problem-solving know-how from its service development process with the industry through a tech blog. The conference marks a significant step in extending that online exchange into an in-person setting.

"We will share our vision of going beyond traditional retail to fill customers' everyday lives through technology," a company official said, adding that the company looks forward to strong interest from tech talent.
