Ulsan's Dong-gu will host the 2026 Ulsan Dong-gu Haeparang Trail Healing Festa at the lawn area of Daewangam Park on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The event is part of a project funded through a Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism grant program — the 2026 Korea Dulle-gil Rest Stop and Walking Program — and will offer walking, performances and hands-on activities set against the natural scenery of the Haeparang Trail and Daewangam Park, two of Dong-gu's signature tourism attractions.

The walking portion begins at 1:30 p.m., with participants covering a 4-kilometer coastal path through Daewangam Park alongside professional guides known as "gildonmu." Of the 300 spots available, 200 can be reserved in advance through the Haeparang Trail Tour website, while the remaining 100 will be filled on a walk-in basis on the day of the event.

After the walk, a singer from Dong-gu will perform, followed by a talk concert hosted by a local social media influencer on the theme of music. Hands-on activities will also be on offer, including yoga, sewing therapy, drip coffee making and urban sketching.
