LS Eco Energy posted consolidated sales of 351.5 billion won ($264 million) and operating profit of 22.2 billion won in the third quarter, the company said Tuesday — its best third-quarter performance on record. Sales rose 51 percent and operating profit climbed 50.2 percent from the same period last year.

On a nine-month cumulative basis, the company recorded sales of 987.3 billion won and operating profit of 67.5 billion won, already surpassing its full-year 2025 figures of 960.1 billion won in sales and 66.8 billion won in operating profit.

The earnings growth was driven largely by an expansion in busduct exports. Demand for busducts surged on the back of hyperscale data center investment by global big-tech companies and a rise in supertall building construction, pushing busduct sales to two to three times the level of the same period a year earlier.

Power cables destined for Europe and North America also contributed to the earnings rise, as growing investment in power infrastructure across both regions lifted cable demand. Last month, LS Eco Energy announced it would supply medium-voltage underground cables to a solar power complex in the United States.

The company plans to expand orders from global big-tech clients by investing in new busduct production capacity for AI data centers. To that end, it is building large-capacity busduct manufacturing facilities at its LSCV subsidiary in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with mass production set to begin in the second half of next year.

LS Eco Energy also intends to develop rare-earth metals as a new growth engine. Last month, it broke ground on a samarium metal production facility for defense applications at LSCV, with mass production planned before the end of this year. "We expect the growth in sales and operating profit to continue as AI data center and rare-earth businesses add to our expanding exports to Europe and North America," said Lee Sang-ho, chief executive of LS Eco Energy.
