Suwon is holding the "2026-2027 Visit Suwon Year Short-Form Video Contest — Rediscover Suwon, Season 2."

Participants must produce a video of one minute or less that captures Suwon's hidden charms and submit it by email along with an application form by Nov. 13.

There are no format restrictions. Entries can take any form — advertisements, parodies (memes), animation, interviews or other creative approaches — as long as they promote Suwon tourism through a fresh perspective. Individuals and teams may each submit one entry.

Winners will be selected through an internal review, a judging panel and a public vote. The contest will award one grand prize, two excellence prizes, three merit prizes and 30 participation prizes.

Among entries that clear the first round of judging, the first 30 to qualify will each receive a Visit Suwon Year merchandise kit worth 10,000 won ($7). Winners will be announced in December. Prize money is 1.5 million won for the grand prize, 1 million won for excellence prizes and 500,000 won for merit prizes.
