HD Hyundai Heavy Industries announced Monday that pre-order sales for a commemorative stamp album documenting the company's history and achievements will begin Wednesday.

The album, titled "A Stronger Shipbuilding, A Wider Future," was co-produced with the Dong-Ulsan Post Office and is set for release on Dec. 1. It was created to mark the first anniversary of the integrated HD Hyundai Heavy Industries and to highlight more than half a century of the company's growth and key milestones.

The eight-page album contains 34 permanent stamps in total — 20 covering major moments in the company's history and achievements, and 14 featuring representative vessels. The company said the album captures HD Hyundai Heavy Industries' spirit of challenge and innovation alongside the rise of Korea's shipbuilding industry, enhancing its value as a collector's item.

The album is priced at 35,000 won ($26). Pre-orders will be accepted from Wednesday through Nov. 13 via the Dong-Ulsan Post Office website, a QR code on the promotional poster, or by phone. Pre-order buyers will receive their copies on a rolling basis starting Nov. 24, with in-person pickup at the Dong-Ulsan Post Office also available.

"This commemorative stamp album is a meaningful record of HD Hyundai Heavy Industries' challenges, achievements and future vision as a driving force behind Korea's shipbuilding industry," a company official said. "We hope it becomes an opportunity to share the company's history and values with as many people as possible, including stamp collectors and the general public, through the pre-order sales."

HD Hyundai Heavy Industries will also hold a stamp exhibition at HD Art Center for three days beginning Dec. 1, creating a venue to share the company's growth history with the local community.
