More than 400 public submissions reviewed; slogan reflects core administrative values and future vision
Geumcheon-gu has confirmed "Vibrant Future, Geumcheon Runs" as the official slogan for its ninth elected-term administration.
The slogan was developed through an open public submission process aimed at sharing the administration's core values with residents and shaping the district's future direction together. Geumcheon-gu reviewed more than 400 proposals and, following internal deliberations, finalized a slogan that captures the values and vision of the ninth elected term.
"Vibrant Future" reflects the administration's resolve to bring meaningful change to residents' lives and open a better future through local growth and development. "Geumcheon Runs" expresses the determination to press forward energetically and drive administrative change with momentum.
The slogan's visual design incorporates the Korean consonants "G" and "Ch" — the initials of Geumcheon — rendered as figures in motion, evoking a lively district striding vigorously toward the future alongside its residents.
The ninth elected-term administration has set "people, communication and pragmatism" as its core values, placing residents at the center of governance and planning to deliver changes they can feel in practice.
To that end, the district will pursue six key projects: revitalizing the local economy, improving the urban environment, building a comprehensive welfare and safety net, developing the district as an education and cultural hub, creating a safe and convenient living environment, and advancing AI- and data-driven administration.
"We have put into 'Vibrant Future, Geumcheon Runs' our commitment to building Geumcheon's future together with its residents," Geumcheon-gu District Mayor Choi Ki-chan said. "Drawing on the voices of residents, we will bring vitality to every corner of the district and create a Geumcheon where everyone wants to live and feels proud to call home."
