Samsung Store Gyeongsan, located in Jungbang-dong, Gyeongsan, North Gyeongsang Province, visited Gyeongsan City Hall on Friday to donate 10 million won ($7,420) to a neighbor-aid fund.

The store has donated 10 million won annually to the fund since 2023. This year, it delivered the contribution early ahead of the Gyeongsan City Donation Day and Love-Sharing Festival, set for Oct. 24, to add meaning to the spirit of giving.

Co-representatives Son Sang-han and Son Ji-young said they hoped the donation would "give strength to low-income neighbors and help them enjoy warmer days."

Gyeongsan Mayor Jo Hyeon-il said the city would ensure the funds reach low-income residents in need, "so that the warmth of sharing spreads widely throughout the community."
