Anyang Mayor Choi Dae-ho shared his impressions of a visit to the Anyang Women's Volunteer Association bazaar on his social media account Thursday.
"I made a surprise visit to the Anyang Women's Volunteer Association's Love and Sharing Bazaar!" Choi wrote. "Amid the carefully prepared goods, food and lively atmosphere, I could feel the warm hearts of all the volunteers."
He then added: "I had some delicious roasted garlic chips and found myself smiling as I exchanged warm greetings. Above all, I am deeply grateful to the members of the Anyang Women's Volunteer Association, who quietly serve their neighbors even in places that often go unnoticed."
"A place where small acts of sharing come together to create great happiness — at today's bazaar, I again felt the warm spirit of Anyang. Thank you to all the volunteers who always stand by their neighbors," he added.
