A major Japanese IT company visited Yeungjin University in Daegu to recruit skilled students, holding information sessions and year-group interviews in a wide-ranging talent search.
Representatives from ISFNET, a global Japanese IT firm, visited the university Wednesday and met with students in the AI Global IT department — a partner program under the computer information studies division — to share details about the company and available positions.
The delegation included Heo Ok-in, head of ISFNET Korea, along with Shun Wakamiya, deputy head of the recruitment division at the Japanese headquarters' human resources department, and Hiroyuki Matsuura, a coordinator in the new-graduate recruitment section.
The group arrived at the university at 10 a.m., exchanged greetings with key staff and then met with faculty to discuss student education and career development.
That morning, the delegation held an information session and group interviews for first-year students, introducing the company's business areas and employment opportunities.
Second-year students then took part in one-on-one interviews, during which recruiters assessed individual skills and career goals and offered tailored hiring consultations.
In the afternoon, additional one-on-one interviews were held for second-year students, followed by group interviews for third-year students who had applied to ISFNET — with each session tailored to the students' year level and stage of job preparation.
ISFNET is a global IT company headquartered in Tokyo that operates in cloud services, software solutions and IT infrastructure, with offices in South Korea, China and India.
