The 2026 Future Innovation Technology Expo, known as FIX 2026, will be held at Daegu Exco from Oct. 21 to Oct. 24.

According to the Daegu city government, FIX 2026 marks its third edition this year and will feature a record 588 participating companies showcasing the latest technologies and innovations in future industries including mobility, robotics, ICT and startups.

This year's theme is "AI: Beyond Technology, Into Everyday Life," with a focus on AI-based innovations being applied in industrial settings and daily life.

In the mobility sector, Hyundai Motor Company, GMTCK, SL, Kyungchang Industrial and L&F will participate, joined for the first time by global companies including Mercedes-Benz, Zeekr, Neolix and Volocopter.

Featured technologies will include Hyundai Motor Company's "Artria AI" and "Pleos" platforms, as well as the autonomous delivery vehicles N3 and N6. Public participation programs will also be on offer, including a ride experience aboard Volocopter's urban air mobility aircraft, the VoloCity, and a drone shooting challenge.

In the robotics sector, major companies including HD Hyundai Robotics and Doosan Robotics will present a range of technologies — next-generation collaborative robots, dual-arm robots, patrol robots and humanoid robots.

The ICT sector will feature Megazone Cloud and OnePredikt, along with 19 AI companies from China's Zhejiang Province and 30 ASEAN AI firms, all exhibiting their latest AI and ICT technologies.

The startup zone will integrate the PNP Korea Expo and Startup Arena exhibition spaces. Some 30 companies — including Movin, Aims, Georobot and Pixrobot — will present innovative technologies and products while exploring collaboration opportunities with global firms.

A conference running Oct. 21 to Oct. 23 will bring together 61 experts from 14 countries.

Keynote speakers will include Seoul National University professor Cho Kyu-jin, a leading robotics scholar, along with representatives from global companies, covering the latest technology trends and key issues in emerging industries. An export consultation fair will also expand from one day last year to two days this year, running Oct. 22 to Oct. 23, to broaden business exchanges and export opportunities between companies.

Visitors who pre-register on the FIX website by 5 p.m. Tuesday can attend free of charge. A shuttle bus will operate between Dongdaegu Station and Exco for visitor convenience.

Daegu Mayor Choo Kyung-ho said the expo would give people a chance to experience how AI and advanced technologies are becoming embedded in industry and everyday life, and would help generate tangible results in exports and investment through inter-company technology cooperation and business exchanges. "We will make this FIX an opportunity for Daegu to leap forward as a hub city for future industries," he said.
