'Market' tab and 'Real-Time Issues' feature get AI upgrade
'AI Market Summary' updated every hour
Sector-by-sector movements available in 'Market Trends'
Toss Securities announced Wednesday that it is upgrading the AI capabilities of its "Market" tab and "Real-Time Issues" service.
The overhaul focuses on helping investors grasp overall market movements at a glance while also understanding the background and context behind key issues. The update consolidates major market information in one place and uses AI to summarize and explain the essentials.
The revamped "Market" tab brings together key market data on a single screen — including major domestic and international indexes, supply and demand figures, market trends and real-time market charts.
The "AI Market Summary" feature distills the day's key market developments and updates every hour. Users can also access detailed research notes to explore the main factors driving market movements.
The "Market Trends" section lets users visually track sector-by-sector gains and losses as well as individual stock movements. The "Real-Time Market Chart" displays trading volume and top-gaining and top-losing stocks in live rankings. Data on foreign and institutional buying and selling activity is also provided, giving users a clearer picture of fund flows among major market participants.
Toss Securities also upgraded its AI-powered "Real-Time Issues" service, which it launched in March. Beyond its existing function of curating key investment issues, the service now provides background and context for each issue. An "AI Wiki" feature explains complex economic and financial terms in plain language, while an "Issue Timeline" presents the chronological development of major issues. Through "AI Chat," users can ask questions about topics they follow and receive answers backed by relevant news articles and other sources.
Toss Securities launched its Open API service on a full commercial basis in August. The Open API connects financial data and functions held by the brokerage — including market prices, order information and account data — to programs developed by customers themselves or to third-party services.
"We will continue to use AI technology to build an investment information environment that offers both breadth and depth — from overall market movements to the context behind key issues," a Toss Securities official said.
