US President Donald Trump drew criticism after posting a video on his social media account showing a British man being fatally attacked by a tiger.

According to AFP, The Washington Post and other foreign media, Trump posted the 41-second clip on his Truth Social account Tuesday (local time) with the caption "Don't mess with nature."

The video also appeared on the White House's X account.

Just one minute later, Trump shared a second, 21-second edited video showing lions attacking people, set to upbeat music.

While Trump has a history of posting provocative content on social media, public reaction to this particular post has been notably more critical than usual.

Even one supporter said they were "a big fan" of Trump but "not a fan of this post," adding that "different people have different tastes."

Man who entered tiger enclosure dies at the scene

A British man died Saturday (local time) after entering a Siberian tiger enclosure at a zoo and being mauled by the animal.

Local outlets including The Telegraph reported that the man jumped into the tiger zone at Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster, England, at midday, after which a tiger approached and attacked him.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene but the man was pronounced dead on arrival.

Park staff who witnessed the incident attempted to drive the tiger back using acoustic devices but were unable to prevent the attack.

The park's "Tiger Country" zone is designed so visitors can look down on the tigers from a 300-meter elevated walkway.

Yorkshire Wildlife Park remained closed the following day, Sunday. The park expressed condolences to the victim's family and said it would not euthanize the tiger involved in the incident.
