Ottogi announced it is participating in the 2026 Chuncheon Makguksu Dakgalbi Festival, running through Sunday along the Gongjicheon stream in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province.

The Chuncheon Makguksu Dakgalbi Festival is a regional food festival centered on dakgalbi and makguksu — two dishes synonymous with the city — featuring a range of food stalls and hands-on programs. Attendance is expected to reach 500,000 this year, up from about 310,000 last year.

Ottogi is running a brand booth at the festival where visitors can try dakgalbi-related products, as well as a "Happy Nyam Nyam Ramyun Shop" pairing Chuncheon dakgalbi with Ottogi ramyun.

The booth will offer dishes built around its iron-plate dakgalbi fried rice and Chuncheon dakgalbi rice bowl products. The dakgalbi rice bowl and Chuncheon-style iron-plate dakgalbi sauce will be available for tasting through product displays and customer participation events. The iron-plate dakgalbi fried rice will be sold as a curry cheese dakgalbi doria, prepared with Ottogi curry and snowflake cheese.

At the instant ramyun booth — the Happy Nyam Nyam Ramyun Shop — visitors can build their own bowl by choosing their own toppings, and a novel food pairing combining dakgalbi and ramyun will also be on offer. "We will continue to find ways to connect with consumers by blending regional food culture with Ottogi products," a company official said.
