The Gimcheon City Council in North Gyeongsang Province visited companies at the Gimcheon Industrial Complex on Monday, touring their facilities and holding a roundtable with business representatives to hear their concerns firsthand.

Council Speaker Oh Se-gil led the delegation of city council members, which made successive visits to three firms — Woojin Industrial Systems, Neotech and Codi Cosmetic — where officials briefed council members on their current operations and the challenges they face.

The council members and company representatives then exchanged views on ways to revitalize the local economy and create a more business-friendly environment in the region.

"We will work closely with the city administration to ensure that the valuable opinions we heard on the ground are reflected in city policy, and the council will also actively support that effort," Oh said.
