Gumi, North Gyeongsang Province, said Monday it will operate a "Kakao T Shuttle" service in partnership with Kakao Mobility to help visitors attend the 2026 Gumi Ramyun Festival, running Nov. 6 to 8 near Gumi Station.

The service is designed to improve festival access for public transit users and out-of-town visitors by offering intercity shuttle routes between the festival grounds and major metropolitan areas.

Shuttles will run on seven routes — three from the Greater Seoul area, stopping at Seoul Station, Jamsil Station and Sadang Station, and four from other major cities including Daegu, Busan, Daejeon and Gwangju.

Round-trip fares, to be paid by passengers, are 59,000 won ($44) from Seoul, 25,000 won from Daegu and 45,000 won from Busan.

However, whether each route operates will depend on demand.

"We expect this shuttle service to draw more visitors from the Greater Seoul area and major cities while improving transportation convenience for festival-goers," a Gumi city official said.
