First batch sells out; second batch more than doubles supply
Yoajeong said Thursday it is expanding sales of its fresh-fruit yogurt rice cake to stores nationwide.
The company said the product, which debuted last month at 250 pilot locations, sold out its entire initial stock and remained out of stock for more than a week, drawing a flood of restock requests from customers.
For the second run, Yoajeong has secured more than double the quantity from the first. The five existing menu options now come with larger portions of yogurt cream and fresh fruit, and granola has been added to the signature honeycomb menu. Three new varieties — fresh pineapple, fresh orange and fresh gold kiwi — bring the total lineup to eight.
The product draws on the strengths of Yoajeong's flagship yogurt ice cream, combining yogurt cream with fresh fruit to deliver a differentiated flavor and texture. It is available for dine-in, delivery and takeout. The menu was also developed with input from franchisees and store-level staff.
"We are grateful for the attention and support our fresh-fruit yogurt rice cake has received," a Yoajeong official said. "We will continue to refine the taste and composition of our products based on customer feedback, and work to ensure more customers can enjoy Yoajeong's fresh-fruit desserts."
