Korea Ocean Business Corp. announced Thursday that it has retained international certifications for both its anti-corruption management system (ISO 37001) and compliance management system (ISO 37301) for the second consecutive year, as awarded by the Korea Management Certification Institute.
ISO 37001 is an international standard designed to help organizations prevent and manage corrupt practices such as bribery and illicit solicitation, while ISO 37301 provides a framework for systematically managing an organization's legal and ethical obligations and related risks.
The corporation first obtained ISO 37001 certification in 2024. In 2025, it retained that certification and added ISO 37301, expanding its governance framework beyond anti-corruption to cover compliance management across the entire organization.
The corporation has worked to systematically identify and review corruption and compliance risks while continuously incorporating changes in relevant regulations and the broader business environment into its prevention-focused management framework. It has also conducted tailored ethics and integrity education programs and awareness campaigns for all employees to strengthen its ethical management foundation.
