iM Bank held a ceremony at the main auditorium of its Suseong-dong headquarters to mark its 59th anniversary, the bank announced Thursday.

This year's event centered on sharing digital work ideas developed directly by employees, and featured a vision presentation delivered through an avatar of bank President Kang Jeong-hoon, offering a look at the bank's future management direction.

Most of the program was filled with employee-created content, including an awards ceremony and content reveal for two employee participation programs — "iM Mint Button" and "iM AX Challenge."

"iM Mint Button" is a program in which employees run their own social media accounts to promote the bank, while "iM AX Challenge" is an in-house innovation competition where employees build and demonstrate their own work tools.

Kang also took an active role in presenting the bank's future direction, replacing the traditional commemorative address with an AI and AX vision announcement. His avatar first introduced the bank's strategic direction on stage before Kang himself appeared in person to elaborate on iM Bank's strategy.

"We will move forward as iM Bank — a century-old bank that ensures a safe future through stronger information protection and rigorous security capabilities," Kang said.
