A couple found dead at a house in Naju, South Jeolla Province, were killed the day before their bodies were discovered, police said Wednesday.
Investigators believe the two victims, a married couple in their 60s, were killed between 9:28 p.m. and 11:57 p.m. Monday at their home in Naju.
Security camera footage captured a suspect arriving at the house by bicycle and later leaving in the opposite direction in a cargo truck belonging to the victims.
The bicycle the suspect had ridden was seen loaded in the bed of the truck. Police used the footage to identify the cyclist as a suspect and have been tracing his movements.
Officers arrested the suspect, a man in his 50s, on murder charges Wednesday afternoon at an apartment in Muan-gun, South Jeolla Province, and are questioning him.
