DigitalX said Wednesday it has officially launched a new app featuring a generative AI chatbot, becoming the first domestic digital asset exchange to do so.

The update — the first since DigitalX joined Mirae Asset Group — incorporates the AI-driven asset management direction of "Mirae Asset 3.0," the group's next-generation vision.

The centerpiece of the overhaul is a conversational feature that lets users ask questions inside the app and proceed to the step just before placing an order. When a user types a natural-language question such as "Why did Bitcoin fall overnight?", the AI pulls relevant coverage from global media, cites its sources, and delivers a summary of market conditions and price movements. It also explains technical indicators such as moving averages and the relative strength index in plain terms.

Users can also type something like "I want to buy 10,000 won ($74) worth of Bitcoin," and the AI will generate an "order card" showing the asset, amount and order type. The user can review or edit the card before tapping the order button to complete the trade.

The app also adds an automatic portfolio diagnostic feature. Every day in the early morning hours, the AI analyzes a user's holdings and generates a personalized research note. A notification appears on the in-app AI button whenever a new diagnostic result is ready.

Users can also choose their interface layout based on trading experience. When the app is first launched, it defaults to "Light Mode," which highlights core functions, with the option to switch to "Pro Mode." The Light Mode home screen centers on holdings, returns and an AI market summary. The order screen supports both a simplified "quick order" option and a standard order view with a full asking price board.

"The agentic asset management that Mirae Asset 3.0 envisions goes beyond an AI that simply answers questions — it means the AI monitors markets and assets on behalf of customers even while they sleep," said Lee Jeong-woo, chief technology officer of DigitalX. "The daily pre-dawn AI portfolio diagnostic and conversational order feature are the first steps toward that goal."

Lee added that the company plans to introduce an "agentic trading bot" feature that would let users build a trading bot through conversation with the AI alone, with the bot then running continuously according to a strategy set by the customer. "We will keep strengthening the AI functions that help customers manage their assets," he said.

Meanwhile, DigitalX recently launched a sub-account feature that lets users divide and manage their assets across multiple sub-accounts within a single login. According to the company, users can operate up to 10 accounts simultaneously, including the main account created at registration.
