Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry is accepting applications for four permanent-track intern positions, though the final number of hires is subject to change.

Depending on departmental placement, successful candidates will handle work in areas including general management and administration, accounting and taxation, policy research and investigation, national certification testing, and government and local authority cooperation projects.

Hired interns will work for five months beginning Dec. 1. They will then be evaluated on job performance, work competency and organizational adaptability before being considered for permanent employment.

Applicants must meet the chamber's hiring requirements, including minimum undergraduate grade point averages and certified language test scores. Full eligibility criteria and preferential conditions are available on the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry's website.

The written screening consists of a personality assessment, an aptitude test and an essay exam. Candidates who advance will then undergo interviews assessing job suitability, communication skills, logical reasoning, diligence and growth potential.

Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Oct. 27. The selection process proceeds in order: document screening, written exam and interview.
