Tokyo Electron Korea, a global semiconductor equipment manufacturer, has launched a second-half 2026 open recruitment drive for both new graduates and experienced professionals across 19 job categories.

Applications will be accepted for two weeks through Oct. 18.

The company is recruiting for technical roles including field engineers, who handle equipment installation and maintenance at customer sites, and process engineers, who oversee process development and evaluation. Also open are positions in software and systems engineering, mechanical design, manufacturing and production management, product safety, facility management and IT support.

Sales, strategic planning and human resources positions are also available. To help applicants learn about the company and its roles firsthand, Tokyo Electron Korea will hold an online recruitment information session called "TEL-in Session" on Oct. 13, with current employees on hand to answer questions.

To assess candidates' problem-solving approaches and job fit more comprehensively, the company has expanded AI aptitude testing in its new-graduate screening process and introduced a streamlined version of the same test for the experienced-hire track. The personal statement section has also been revamped to focus on the specific experiences and competencies each role actually requires.

Candidates who pass the document screening and first and second interviews in November will join the company in January 2027. Work locations vary by role and include Hwaseong, Pyeongtaek, Icheon, Cheongju and Balan. New hires may also be assigned to the Yongin office, which is scheduled to open in January 2027.

New graduates will go through a two-week group orientation program called "TEL-SHIP" to learn the company's core values and foundational work skills. Experienced hires will complete a separate course, the "TEL Culture Program," designed to familiarize them with the company's values, work practices and organizational culture.

All new employees will also take part in a four-week Japanese language training program called "JapanEase." Once assigned to their departments, they will be paired with a senior colleague in the same team who will serve as a mentor to help them settle into their roles and the organization.

Under internal policy, Tokyo Electron Korea offers housing support through a choice of company-provided accommodation or a monthly rent and home-loan interest subsidy. Employees may also use Tokyo Electron's recreational facilities in Japan.

Other benefits include a flexible work-hours system that allows annual leave to be taken in 30-minute increments, a vehicle purchase support program, tuition assistance for employees' children, and an employee stock purchase plan. Overtime pay is calculated and disbursed in 10-minute units.

"Rather than focusing on academic background or years of experience alone, we plan to look closely at whether candidates can quickly pick up new technologies based on the experiences and competencies they have built, and apply them on the job," a company official said.
