Bithumb has ranked first in the virtual asset exchange category of the 2026 Korean Customer Satisfaction Index for the second consecutive year.

The cryptocurrency exchange said it topped the virtual asset exchange segment within the financial sector of the KCSI survey, administered by Korea Management Association Consulting. It first claimed the top spot last year. The KCSI measures customer satisfaction levels for products and services across industries by combining overall satisfaction, component satisfaction and repurchase intent.

Bithumb credited the recognition to its focus on delivering AI-powered investment information, improving trading convenience, and strengthening customer support and user protection systems, with service improvements aimed at reducing friction at every stage of the trading process, from market research through order placement and consultation.

This year, Bithumb concentrated on using AI technology to help users search for market information and build investment strategies. Through its Bithumb AI platform, the company offers an AI asset signal feature and an AI asset analysis tool that provide market trends and key data on individual assets. It also launched AI Trade Kit, a generative AI-based tool that lets users create automated trading programs.

Trading convenience also saw upgrades. Bithumb redesigned its trading interface and color system to improve readability, and introduced time-weighted average price order execution and a portfolio purchase service to support a wider range of investment approaches. It also streamlined the process for opening a KB Kookmin Bank account and linking it to Bithumb without requiring a separate app installation.

On the customer support side, Bithumb became the first domestic virtual asset exchange to introduce a speech-to-text-based consultation support service. Phone and chat support operate around the clock, 365 days a year.

To protect users, the exchange runs a video-call identity verification process for elderly customers. It is also working to adopt PQC, expanding a bug bounty program that rewards security vulnerability reports, and running regular information security awareness campaigns.

"This result reflects our efforts to connect new technologies, including AI, to improvements in customer convenience and the investment experience, and to consistently incorporate customer feedback into our services," a Bithumb official said. "We will continue to enhance our services and build a stable trading environment that anyone can use with confidence."
