Company claims top KCSI spot; cuts diesel prices to ease burden on customers
Naver Pay point accumulation service set to launch next year
SK Energy announced Thursday that it ranked first in the gas station category of the 2026 Korean Customer Satisfaction Index, a survey published by Korea Management Association Consulting.
The result marks the company's 16th consecutive year atop the KCSI gas station rankings. The KCSI is a leading index that comprehensively evaluates customer satisfaction with products and services across domestic industries.
SK Energy said it worked throughout this year to ensure a stable energy supply to customers nationwide through its gas station network, even as the energy market shifted rapidly.
In June, the company took the lead in temporarily cutting diesel prices by 50 won per liter in line with the government's price-stabilization policy, aiming to ease the financial burden on consumers amid high fuel costs.
The company also signed an MOU with Naver Pay and plans to introduce a service allowing customers to earn Naver Pay points when fueling up at SK gas stations, with the service set to launch as early as January 2027.
Ahead of the full launch, a promotional campaign will run from September through December, offering Naver Pay points to customers who spend 50,000 won ($37) or more at SK gas stations using the Naver Pay-Samsung Pay combined payment option.
SK Energy is also contributing to improved working conditions for truck drivers by operating "Naetteureokhaus," a multipurpose rest and convenience facility for commercial vehicle operators.
"Topping the KCSI rankings for 16 consecutive years is a testament to our customers' unwavering trust," an SK Energy official said. "We will continue to expand the differentiated services and value that customers can truly feel."
