Main series 'Sanjeonchoriwon' premieres Thursday at 5 p.m.; offline wellness talk set for Oct. 22; dedicated app to launch Oct. 13
Hanwha General Insurance announced Thursday the launch of its official YouTube channel, PLUS CLOVR TV, dedicated to addressing the real-life concerns of women navigating pregnancy, childbirth and parenting, with its main content series making its debut the same day.
PLUS CLOVR TV is a content channel that draws on expert perspectives and practical information to address the wide range of challenges women face throughout pregnancy, childbirth and child-rearing.
The channel's flagship program, Sanjeonchoriwon, a prenatal preparation show, was conceived around the idea that preparation before birth matters just as much as postnatal recovery. The show aims to help women look ahead and prepare for the journey of becoming a mother. Formatted as a relaxed, witty real-talk show, it covers the physical and psychological changes from the pre-conception stage through the postpartum period, as well as the practical shifts that arise in relationships and daily life.
MBC announcer Lee Seon-yeong, influencer Ha Eun-mi and obstetrician Ryu Ji-won serve as host and panelists. The show blends firsthand experience with medical insight, and a specialist in a relevant field joins each episode to help viewers sort reliable information from the unverified claims that circulate online.
The first episode, titled "Pregnancy and childbirth rumors — how much should you believe?", examines popular myths around gender prediction, genetics and lifestyle habits that expectant mothers often wonder about, with expert guidance. Sanjeonchoriwon premieres Thursday at 5 p.m. and will air every Thursday at 5 p.m. on the PLUS CLOVR official YouTube channel.
An offline event is also planned. Hanwha General Insurance will host the PLUS CLOVR Pregnant Women's Wellness Talk on Oct. 22, inviting expectant mothers for wellness experiences and a spinoff talk show tied to Sanjeonchoriwon, where participants can share their concerns and hear from specialists. Registration details are available on the PLUS CLOVR official Instagram account.
PLUS CLOVR is a wellness solution brand for women during pregnancy, childbirth and the parenting years, launched under Hanwha Financial's new PLUS brand umbrella. It aims to help women maintain a lifestyle true to themselves even as they become mothers. The brand name evokes "four-leaf happiness" — three leaves representing mother, father and child, with a fourth leaf symbolizing expert assurance.
Following the YouTube channel launch, Hanwha General Insurance plans to release the official PLUS CLOVR mobile app on Oct. 13, expanding its women's wellness care ecosystem.
"Pregnancy and childbirth are a time filled with as much worry and change as joy and anticipation," a Hanwha General Insurance official said. "We want PLUS CLOVR TV to help women find answers suited to their own situations and continue living life on their own terms."
Meanwhile, Hanwha General Insurance has also been strengthening its product-side coverage for pregnancy and childbirth. Its Hanwha Signature Women's Health Insurance 4.0, launched in January, extends childbirth-related coverage to the pregnancy stage, paying a one-time pregnancy support benefit of 500,000 won ($368). After delivery, the policy pays a childbirth benefit that scales with birth order — 1 million won for a first child, 3 million won for a second and 5 million won for a third — and also covers postnatal care center costs and childcare expenses incurred during hospitalization.
