Participating in COEX International Advanced Materials Technology Exhibition
The Hadong office of the Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone Authority is participating in the 14th International Advanced Materials Technology Exhibition (INTRA 2026), which opened Wednesday at COEX in Seoul.
The Hadong office, together with Hadong-gun, has set up a promotional booth at the venue, where a team of about 10 staff members is briefing exhibiting companies on development progress and the investment environment in the Hadong district and holding one-on-one investment consultations.
The Hadong district of the Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone includes the Daesong Industrial Complex and the Galsa Bay Shipbuilding Industrial Complex. The Daesong complex, home to Gwangyang Steelworks, is targeting companies in emerging industries such as secondary batteries, advanced materials and renewable energy, as well as metal processing and manufacturing.
Choi Yun-jong, head of the Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone Authority's Hadong office, said the authority would use the exhibition as a springboard to broaden its base for attracting advanced materials companies through sustained consultations and networking with businesses.
