E-mart will run its "Gorae-it Festa" promotion from Thursday through Monday, offering discounts of up to 50 percent on autumn seasonal fresh produce, food, household goods and home appliances.

Among the seasonal fresh items, fresh sweet potatoes (1.5 kilograms) will be priced at 5,980 won per box or 8,980 won for two boxes. E-mart said it has secured about 200 metric tons of sweet potatoes harvested from major growing regions across the country, including Gimje, Yeongam, Dangjin and Yeoju. Ripe persimmons and sweet persimmons, both in season, will be available at 5,980 won and 6,986 won, respectively.

Customers who accumulate Shinsegae Points and pay with a participating card can buy "Aqua fresh salmon sashimi" at roughly 50 percent off. "Palgongsanggang Korean beef" and US prime beef are discounted 40 percent for Shinsegae Points holders. Popular seafood items — including live flower crabs, fresh shrimp and red scallops — are up to 50 percent off. A pack of "South Pacific salted mackerel" will be available at 7,788 won, a 40 percent discount for Shinsegae Points members.

A "mix-and-match" promotion lets shoppers freely combine products to their liking. Any three items from 25 types of cleaning detergents can be purchased together for 9,900 won. Fourteen varieties of Glasslock storage containers are also available — pick any three by size or purpose for 9,900 won.

The same promotional prices will be available on SSG.com's E-mart Mall for key items including fresh and processed foods. E-mart Everyday will also hold its own "Gorae-it Festa" from Oct. 1 through Oct. 7, offering special prices on fresh produce such as autumn cucumbers, bananas and potatoes, as well as ramyun, snacks and dairy products.
