Singer IU, whose real name is Lee Ji-eun, left a comment on a creator's cover video of her song "Bam Pyeonji," offering encouragement.

The creator had posted a video on Instagram singing "Bam Pyeonji" with lyrics and pitch notes displayed on a tablet screen. The video highlighted the breathing and pronunciation details of each lyric, including a note on the line "da kkeonaeo jul sun eopjiman" — pointing out that the syllable "da" should be drawn out and pronounced as "deu-a."

IU responded directly on Monday, writing in the comments: "The 'deu-a' in that line sounds so good."

The creator replied, "Unnie, my heart is racing." IU's comment drew more than 12,000 likes, and other users flooded the thread with replies including "Unnie," "Wow," and "IU noticed it herself."

"Bam Pyeonji" was released in March 2017, with IU credited as a co-lyricist.

The song served as the first pre-release track from IU's fourth studio album "Palette" and has since become one of her signature songs, alongside "Good Day," celebrated for capturing her distinctly personal sensibility.
