Positions available in architecture, civil engineering, safety and health, and business management
Daebo Group announced Wednesday that it will conduct an open recruitment drive for new college graduates, limited to its construction affiliate Daebo Construction.
The group said it is accepting applications for its 18th class of new hires. This year's recruitment is restricted to Daebo Construction among the group's affiliates, with a double-digit number of positions available.
Open roles include architecture (construction and administration), civil engineering (construction and administration), safety and health, and business management. Applicants must hold a four-year university degree or be on track to graduate by February 2027, and must have completed or been exempted from military service with no restrictions on overseas travel. Relevant professional certifications are required for the architecture, civil engineering, and safety and health positions.
Applications are being accepted through the Daebo Group online recruitment portal until 6 p.m. on Oct. 11. Candidates who pass the document screening will go through two rounds of interviews, including an online aptitude test and a group discussion. Final results are expected to be announced in November.
Last year's 17th recruitment cycle drew an average of 55 applicants per position, according to Daebo Group.
"Given the strong response to last year's recruitment, we look forward to seeing young talent actively apply this year as well," a Daebo Group official said.
Daebo Group was founded in 1981 as a construction company and has since expanded to include Daebo Construction, Daebo Silup, Daebo Distribution, Daebo Information and Communications, and Seowon Valley Country Club. The group operates across construction, retail, information technology and leisure, with around 4,000 employees and annual sales of approximately 2 trillion won ($1.47 billion).
Meanwhile, Daebo Construction recently secured contracts for the Gyeyang-Ganghwa Expressway and the Asan Tangjeong 2 urban development project in quick succession, pushing its cumulative order intake this year past approximately 1.12 trillion won.
