Gyeonguk National University will host the 2026 Gyeonguk National University Job Festival at the gymnasium of its Andong campus Wednesday through Thursday.
The event is designed to offer current students, graduates and local youth a range of career and employment information, while giving companies and public institutions a chance to meet and recruit talented candidates from the region.
More than 40 companies and institutions are set to participate, including businesses based in North Gyeongsang Province, public institutions that have relocated to the region, and firms partnered with the university. They will provide hiring information and conduct on-site consultations.
Recruitment booths and on-site interview and in-depth consultation programs will allow participants to speak directly with company HR managers and gather practical information on hiring processes, job roles and the qualities employers seek.
Separate interview rooms and networking spaces will be available to facilitate deeper exchanges between employers and job seekers. Interactive programs — including a booth sticker tour and prize draws — are also planned to encourage students to actively explore participating companies.
Details on participating companies and individual programs are available on the university's Career Development Center website.
Han Tae-kyung, director of the university's University Jobs Plus Center, said the festival gives students and local youth a chance to engage directly with a variety of companies and roles, helping them map out their career paths and connect with real employment opportunities. "We also expect it to be a meaningful occasion for companies to discover outstanding local talent," he added.
