Musinsa Standard is entering the wellness wear market.

Musinsa announced Tuesday that it is partnering with global textile company Hyosung TNC to launch a "Recovery" collection under the Musinsa Standard label.

The new products are made with MEDIQ™, a functional fabric co-developed with Hyosung TNC. The material uses ceramic-infused yarn that emits far-infrared rays, a performance property certified through testing by the Korea Far Infrared Association.

The fabric blends cotton and modal for a soft feel with moisture absorption and breathability, while a triple-layer structure that traps fine air pockets between layers delivers both lightness and warmth.

The collection launches in men's and women's lines, built around mix-and-match sets that include a hooded zip-up, short-sleeve T-shirts, pants and five-inch shorts. Prices range from 29,900 won to 69,900 won ($52), and the collection is available through the Musinsa online store.

Musinsa said it took note of a lifestyle shift among younger consumers who increasingly treat rest and recovery as essential daily values.

"The significance lies in the fact that we collaborated from the yarn-development stage to realize the right material, then added Musinsa Standard's own design and construction to deliver a product that is both functional and wearable every day," a Musinsa Standard official said. "We will lead the wellness wear market, which holds strong growth potential."
