National Health Insurance Service runs prize draw for new auto-pay enrollees from Tuesday to Oct. 30
The National Health Insurance Service announced Monday it will hold a prize event for new applicants who sign up for automatic payment of the four major social insurance premiums — national health insurance, national pension, employment insurance and industrial accident compensation insurance.
The event runs for 32 days from Tuesday through Oct. 30, and is open to households and businesses that enroll in automatic bank account or credit card payments for the four social insurance premiums during the event period.
Auto-pay enrollment is available through the National Health Insurance Service's customer center by phone, fax or in-person visit. Individually insured subscribers may also apply through the service's website or mobile app, while businesses can enroll via the Social Insurance Integrated Collection Portal or the health insurance electronic data interchange system.
Those who wish to enter the prize draw after signing up for auto-pay can do so through the prize event banner posted on the National Health Insurance Service website or the Social Insurance Integrated Collection Portal, or by scanning the QR code on promotional posters.
The service will select 400 winners from among all entrants, each of whom will receive a foldable camping wagon as a prize.
Winners will be announced Nov. 13 on the National Health Insurance Service website and the Social Insurance Integrated Collection Portal, and will also be notified individually by text message.
Meanwhile, enrolling in auto-pay for the four social insurance premiums entitles individually insured subscribers to a monthly discount of up to 430 won and businesses to a monthly discount of up to 500 won.
