Dong-A Otsuka announced Monday it will donate 30,000 cans of its Narangsider cider to CJ Logistics delivery workers.

Sales of Narangsider rose 48 percent year-on-year in the month after the company signed girl group RESCENE as its brand model, a period running from July 21 to Aug. 21.

The company said it arranged the donation to express gratitude to the CJ Logistics drivers whose work helped deliver the product to customers nationwide.

"Behind the growing number of consumers who have come to love Narangsider was the hard work of delivery workers who brought our product to every corner of the country," said Jang Kyung-jin, brand manager for Narangsider. "We prepared this donation to convey our thanks and hope it offers them a cool, refreshing moment of rest."
