The city of Incheon has published the fall 2026 issue of its Chinese-language newsletter, "Incheon Jichang."

The fall issue takes up the third installment of the annual series "Munjeonseongssi, Incheon" — a feature exploring the city's vitality — under the main theme of "Seong: Incheon as an economic city driving South Korea's growth."

The issue traces in three strands how Incheon, which has grown as a gateway city since the opening of its port, is emerging as a hub for advanced industries and future new industries.

Those strands cover "advanced" — represented by what the city describes as the world's largest biotech cluster and a global semiconductor base — "foundation," built on the smart digital transformation of the Namdong, Juan and Bupyeong industrial complexes, and "future," envisioned through urban air mobility, new robot industries and a startup park.

Other sections include "Incheon Now," a sketch of the 10th Incheon-China Forum; "Incheon and China Sister and Friendly Cities," covering cooperation with Henan Province; "Incheon Small but Strong Companies," spotlighting an Incheon firm incorporated in Suzhou, China, that produces precision motors and robot reducers; and "Listening to Opinion Leaders," featuring a proposal by Kim Su-han, a senior research fellow at the Incheon Research Institute, on South Korea-China co-prosperity.

Incheon Jichang was first published in 2015 as the first Chinese-language periodical launched by a local government in South Korea. It is issued in print runs of 2,000 copies each quarter.
